Blogger let me down again

Once again, Blogger has stopped me from uploading pictures to this blog and it does not seem to matter what I do to try and correct this failure.  This is so frustrating!  I have reported the problem two or three times to Blogger and nobody responds with any comment or solution.  I have to wonder whether this is just me, or whether other bloggers have the same problem and whether they have received any help.  So, no more pictures until I find another program or someone finally responds.  What do I have to do to get attention?

Nice day to fly!

What a wonderful day it was today!  Warm sunshine, clear blue skies and a chance to sit around on the grass and watch the local Model Aircraft Club entertain us with their annual flying display. There were a lot of beautiful models of well known old as well as modern aircraft and, as you can see in the picture, most of them were very large scale and perfectly constructed and finished.  As for the actual flying, there were some very competent operators and owners putting the planes through their paces.  A thoroughly enjoyable day!

Little shopper

Isn't it amazing how quickly very small children learn to imitate their mothers and become what you might call "Trainee Shoppers".  This one, my grandson, is about two years old (I think) and is already capable of making his own selections.  But I expect some of the items he will put in the shopping buggy will mysteriously disappear at the checkout!

Spring flowers

Spring has come and one of my children has sent us a lovely bouquet of flowers. Simply beautiful and a pleasure to have it on display for our enjoyment. There is something about flowers that brings out the best in us by appealing to our sense of sight, smell and the satisfaction of a symmetrical display; and of course the frequencies of the colors affect the frequencies of our bodies, which adds to the affinity we have with nature..

How time flies

That's amazing!  It has been two months since I last posted here and the time went by so fast it seemed only a few days.  What is it about these modern times that time goes by so quickly (faster than a year or so ago) that we suddenly realise what date it is and remember all those things we needed or wanted to do that did not get done.  Could it perhaps be that we all grow older and less energetic?  Lazier?  More careless?  Or should we just stop worrying about it and enjoy what we have?

Computers!

We have no image in this post.  Why?  I sometimes wonder whether there is some clever computer programmer out there who is just trying to fool me by introducing a program update that will stop me from doing things I am used to doing and they will no longer work.  There is enough frustration in other aspects of life without computer problems!  But I suppose we all encounter such things and we have to overcome our annoyance and just get on with it.  As the popular notice says "Carry On and Press Ctl/Alt/Del".

Finished it!

Well, it took a while to do this jigsaw puzzle even though it looks quite an easy one, but the evenings are dark now and it is so good to sit in front of the fire and watch the picture grow as we fit the pieces in.  At the same time, as imagination grows along with the scene, it is a harbinger of Spring with Summer to follow close behind.
